Oregon continues to seek ways to protect our communities, businesses and public health. Governor Kate Brown’s 2-week “freeze” ended late last week and outdoor wine tasting and dining are once again available to you.
But with details changing so often, it’s hard to keep up. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Oregon has launched a new framework that ranks counties by four categories (pink, orange, yellow and green above). The menu of services available at your favorite tasting rooms will be informed by the guidelines of each category.
The good news is that right now all Oregon wineries can offer shipping, takeout and limited seated wine tasting outdoors.
As counties graduate to less restrictive categories, additional opportunities such as indoor tasting and larger party sizes will be added. Then and now, make sure you call ahead to confirm availability before heading out.
And whether you’re heading out or staying in The Oregon Wine Giving Season continues through December 31. Shop promotions, keepsakes and charitable giving from more than 100 wineries statewide.
